Carino's designs implemented several techniques to gain maximum visibility in the search engines for a marketing-led set of specifc keywords and search phrases.
- Using stylesheets rather than tables to ensure that text content is displayed in the right order
- Optimising text, page titles and keyword ALT tags
- Appropriate use of headings and other elements according to 'semantic markup' principles
- Linking to the main Web site in order to boost its Google ranking
