Maintaining Fujitsu’s Lead in Europe

Having been contracted to maintain Fujitsu Microelectronics Europe’s Web site since 1997, Carino has carried out three major projects to migrate content from older sites to more modern technologies.
Fujitsu’s global Web services are maintained via a global framework, which separates content (text, images, downloads) from layout, ensuring consistency of presentation for all companies in the worldwide Group.
The company had developed country portals for businesses serving national markets and, with the assistance of Carino, extended this model to those businesses operating on a pan-European basis.
Carino then migrated the whole 2000 pages of content to build a new Web site for Fujitsu Micrelectronics Europe – the semiconductur business of Fujitsu’s electronic devices group.
Based on this successful migration, Carino has gone on to migrate content for other companies in the Group, including PFU Imaging Solutions Europe and Fujitsu Components Europe.
